A traditional old stone farmhouse, reconstructed from the foundation as an exact replica, now classified as 'Casa de Turismo Rural' by the Portuguese Tourist Board. While maintaining the character of an old Azorean Cottage, the Sabugo House is quite modern with spacious bathrooms, kitchen equipment and ADSL.

The owner is a former professional sailor, now retired on the island. She is originally from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and has lived in the Azores for over 20 years.
She speaks English, Dutch, Portuguese, French, German and understands Spanish and Italian.
