- Traumhafter könnte es hier nicht sein. Marijkes Haus ist einmalig und sehr
ruhig gelegen. Eine paradiesische Umgebung. Weit und breit nichts Störendes.
Das Meeresrauschen klingt aus der Ferne sanft an unsere Ohren. Wir genossen
die Sicht auf das Meer und den Capelinhos. Die Sonnenuntergänge bleiben unvergesslich.
Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist überdurchschnittlich für eine Mietwohnung.
Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Herzlichen Dank.

Deze vakantie was net zoals vorig jaar, weer een groot succes! Bedankt voor het vele paardrijden dat wij samen hebben gedaan en je gastvrijheid! Erg leuk ook dat we uit eten gingen in Horta en de borrel bij je thuis. Hopelijk tot volgend jaar (of eerder, haha).

- This was our first visit to Faial and we were very impressed with the beauty of the island. It has been a very relaxed holiday touring
around either by car or walking or by boat!
Volcano House is very well equipped and has been a haven to return to and chill out.
We hope very much to return as we still have to go whale watching!

- Today we return for the first time to Holland. We are sure to return. 15 Days on Faial changed our lives. Here is why: The island itself with its breath taking views, beautiful nature, tranquility and unbelievable charming spots. The culture and the people so open and friendly, all are ready to help and guide. As an example: Barbeque places along the roads and in special parcs with the wood supplied! And water troughs for cattle, taps for people all over the island. We experienced this island as heaven on earth and we want to be part of it.
We will take this beauty, this story, this experience to Holland and hand it out to other people. Thank you Marijke, it started with your hospitality and doesn't stop there. Thank you Faial, for this wonderful gift.
